GULAB JAMUN
This is my first recipe am very much exited.... Navarathri n diwali are coming close to be celebrated so am posting my fav sweet recipe today....
Gulab jamun is a easy sweet dish to prepare.....
INGREDIENTS
150gm instant gulab jamun mix
water as per need
sugar syrup
sugar - 1cup
water - 1/2 cup
cardomen powder - a pinch
saffron - 5 strands
METHOD

pour the instant mix in a plate and sprinkle some water |

knead it into a soft dough |
 |
rub some oil into your hand and roll the dough into small balls |

Heat oil in a kadai |
 |
meanwhile we'll make the sugar syrup
pour water and sugar together |
 |
add some cardomen powder |
 |
let the sugar syrup boil well till it reaches sticky
consistency |
 |
add some saffron nd switch off the flame
let it cool down |
 |
put a small piece of dough and check the heat
Oil should be in a medium heat |
 |
put the balls into the oil slowly |
 |
fry them till they turn golden brown |
 |
let them cool down into room temperature |
 |
put the balls into the sugar syrup
Let them rest for 2 hours

very soft to eat......
