INGREDIENTS
Maida - 3 cup
Dalda - 50gm
Baking soda - a pinch
Baking powder - a pinch
Sugar - 1 tsp
Curd - 1/2 cup
Oil - for frying
for sugar syrup
Sugar - 1 1/2 cup
Water - 1/2 cup
Lemon juice - 1 tsp
METHOD
In a bowl add melted dalda,baking powder,baking soda sugar and mix well. Add maida into it. |
Add the curd little by little and knead it into a soft dough. Dont knead too much. Take a small portion of dough and roll it. |
Flatten the dough and make a impression at the center. Heat oil in a kadai at a medium flame. |
Fry the badusha at a very low flame and take them out when they turn golden brown in colour. Make sugar syrup simultaneously. |
In a pan add sugar and water and make a 1 string consistency sugar syrup. Switch off the flame and add the lemon juice to it to avoid crystallization. |
Add the fried badushas to the sugar syrup and leave it for 20min. After 20 min take them from the syrup and leave them to dry. |
