ALOO BALLS

INGREDINTS

Potato-6
Carrot-1cup grated
Cabbage-2cup grated
Chilli powder-2 tbspn
Salt-1 tbspn
Oil- for frying

OUTER COATING

Maida-1/2 cup
vermicelli-1 cup
Water-as needed

METHOD

Grate the carrot an cabbage finely.
Boil the potatoes seperately.

In a kadai saute carrot,cabbage then add mashed potatoes.
Add chilli powder and salt into it and switch of the flame.

After the potato mixture cooled down
roll them into small balls.

Mix maida,water into a slight thick mixture.
Crush the vermicilli in a plate.

Dip the aloo mixture into the maida mixture
and roll them tightly into the vermicilli.

Roll them tightly and shape them into any desired shape.

Heat the oil in a pan at medium flame.

Fry them in the oil till it turns golden brown in colour.

Tasty aloo balls ready....

Serve it hot with tomato ketchup....
Kids love it a lot.....
