POTATO SALNA



INGREDIENTS

  • Potato - 3
  • Onion - 3
  • Tomato - 2
  • Green chilli - 1
  • Curry leaves - 10
  • Coconut - 1/4 cup
  • Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
  • Black pepper - 1tsp
  • Cinnamon stick - 3
  • Salt - as needed
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Water - as needed
  • Oil - 2tsp

METHOD

In a kadai add pepper,fennel seeds,cinnamon,curry leaves
coconut and saute them wel,Grind them into a fine paste.

Saute 2 onions and 1 tomato well and add them to the grinded paste,add
some chilli powder to it and grind them into a fine paste.

In a cooker add some oil,onion,tomato,green chilli,potato
salt and turmeric.Add some water and make it boil till potato get cooked.

After potato get cooked add the grinded paste into it,make them
to boil for 5min till the oil get seperates.

SALNA IS READY TO SERVE....
SERVE HOT WITH PAROTTA....
