RED COCONUT CHUTNEY








INGREDIENTS

Coconut - 1/2 cup grated
Onion - 1/4 cup
Red chilli -4 nos
Ginger - a small piece
Salt - as needed
Water - as needed

FOR TEMPERING

Oil - 1 tbspn
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tbspn
Urud dhal - 1/4 tbspn
Curry leaves - 4-5

METHOD

In a mixie jar add all the ingredients listed above and grind it in to a smooth paste.

In a kadai add oil ,mustard seeds , urud dhal, curry leaves
Switch off the flame .Add the tempering to the chutney and mix it well.
